Other options aside from hiring a pet and home sitter exist. Quality boarding facilities sprinkle the area and if this is your preference you should definitely board. However, boarding is expensive. Traveling with animals is theoretically pleasing. We took an RV trip over the summer and contemplated taking one of our four pups. When we considered the possibility of loss and the stress of new places EVERY day, we decided to leave Frog home with the rest of our zoo. Of course, these are personal decisions.
